Mike Sylvester - Training & Development
 |
Michael Sylvester Limited was established in 1986. Initially to provide training courses to corporate business in the European Markets of F.M.C.G., Business to Business and Service Industries. In particular in areas concerned with Marketing and it’s related subjects.
As catalysts for change the company participated in the introduction of The Human Rights Act in 1998 which coincided with the exploration of new methods of learning. Far from the days of formal training courses with large numbers of participants, the current methodology is to work with small groups and individuals in the practical application of increasing skill levels. The emphasis is on a common sense approach. By working closely with established clients over recent years in both the corporate and public service sectors we are able to bring forward an extensive range of learning opportunities. Understanding individual needs is paramount, together with a non-prescriptive method. Rather than taking a now outdated view with a mechanistic system we offer a measurement between capability and intent. What is the business intention and how capable is the current skill level ? This way realistic aims and objectives can be established and achieved.
All work is within the codes of practise of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, BNI and The Guidelines for Equality, Diversity and Human Rights.
W.C. The London Stock Exchange: "The way you explained all the points was the best by far I have ever experienced."
