About the Chairman
Mike Sylvester is a Chartered Marketer and lives in Nottinghamshire although he sees himself as being European.
Mike like his Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather he has spent his life at the leading edge of business. In the past Mike has managed and Directed several companies. He became unemployed for a period of time in the 1980’s which changed his whole approach in business. This was from one of a materialistic nature to that of a much wider vision. It is from this standpoint Michael Sylvester Limited was formed. Mike has a real understanding of what it feels like to be at the bottom of the heap, and in later life this is causing incredible success in motivating others to achieve. The business has grown from nothing to one of wide respect in business and Government Departments alike.
Mike’s attitude of a common sense approach is extensively acknowledged.
Married with two grown up sons, Mike’s interests include being a Church Councillor, a keep fit enthusiast and he represents the Police Authority as an Independent Custody Visitor.
When time permits, he can be found on his boat called "Motivator."
